Children and Families
at Hope Family Church
Sunday Mornings
10:15am – 11:30am every Sunday
Jesus said “let the children come to me” and we love having kids in Church… even if they’re being noisy! During the service it’s perfectly okay for your kids to be playing with the many toys or on our legendary soft play (for under 5s) – it’s not a distraction for us because we love being together as a family. Our children usually start off in Church for worship, before primary aged kids head into The Den next door with safeguarding trained leaders for fun, activities, and exploration. But we’re happy for them to stay in the service too! Just be careful about them walking across camera because all our services are livestreamed on Facebook.
In-person at Hope Family Church: Washington.
Toddlers
9:30am – 11am on Mondays and Thursdays
We run Toddlers every Monday and Thursday during term-time at Hope Family Church: Washington. Each session includes time for free play (including use of our soft play), before coming together for a story, snack, and song. We also serve tea, coffee, and bacon sandwiches! You don’t need to book, just pop along, and sessions are free to attend – we do ask for a donation for food though if possible.
Messy Church
3pm – 4:30pm, Sunday 16th July
Messy Church is a fun afternoon for children and families which includes games, songs, craft activities, and a short talk, along with a shared dinner (cooked by Chef Gavin – our vicar).
The Ark Play Cafe
11am – 4pm Tuesday to Thursday
Enjoy our play facilities, grab a latte, or get some lunch at our Cafe! You’ll find a fun atmosphere, hearty home-cooked food, and a warm welcome, with a charge of just £2 per family for entry.
