We’re really excited to announce that we’re joining the Hope Family Church network! The Rev’d Gavin Rushton and his team from Hope Family Church, including Curate Rev’d Anita Burke, are keen to plant a new church community within Christ Church and its church hall, which will continue to serve the needs of the New Seaham community in new ways as they hope to reinvigorate Christian mission in the parish.

We’re a family friendly Church where visitors and newcomers, young and old, will always find a warm welcome and we’re all about building community. Come and try our new monthly Explore service on the first Sunday of each month at 5pm in the Community Hall, or join us every Sunday morning at 10am!

Are you looking to explore faith as a family in a way that’s fun, friendly, and great for all ages and stages of faith? Come and Explore with us! There’ll be live worship, creative activities, a short talk, and opportunities to try different forms of prayer as long as a warm welcome! Plus there’ll be free refreshments and teatime food for us to share!

We’re really excited to be starting a new Toddler Group at New Seaham! Bring your 0-3yr olds along for a time of play, refreshments, story and song! It’s also free of charge, though you are free to make a donation should you want to.
