Hi, I'm Gavin and I'm the vicar here at Hope Family Church. If you'd like to talk, you can email me at email@example.com.
We’re here to listen
At Hope Family Church we understand that life’s journey can be filled with challenges and uncertainties, as well as moments of joy. And we don’t want anyone to journey alone. We want to be a Church family that supports each other and helps each other through all of life and faith, and so we’re here for you.
Whether you’re experiencing personal struggles, seeking spiritual counsel, or simply looking for someone to listen – we’re here. We won’t necessarily be able to fix all of your problems and make it all better. But what we can offer is a safe, open, and non-judgemental space to chat about the things that are really on your heart.
What to Expect
Get in touch with one of our team and we’ll set up a time, date, and location to meet. Meetings may begin and end with prayer if you’d like them to, and during meetings you’re welcome to talk about whatever you’d like to discuss, in as much or as little detail as you’re comfortable with. You can expect our team to be welcoming, attentive, and gentle as we journey alongside you through whatever you’re facing.
Youth Listening Service
As part of the TEN10 Project we run a listening service for those aged 11-18 to chat with one of our trained listeners about anything that might be going on your life. To organise a meet-up, text “LISTEN” and YOUR NAME to 07918 493643, and somebody will reply within 48hrs.
You can chat with Rob or Becca who are both trained listeners, as well as Youth Mental Health First Aiders with MHFA.
At Hope Family Church we are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for everyone and abide by the Church of England’s Safeguarding policies promoting a safer church. More information can be found here.
