children & families
There are loads of things to get involved with at Oxclose Church as a family!
toddlers
Oxclose Church Toddler Group runs weekly during term-time on a Thursday from 9:30am-11am. From 9:30am-10:30am you're free to run around and play (we even have an awesome new soft play!!!), then at 10:30am we stop for a snack, story, and a song.
There's no minimum age or cost, and parking is available outside the Church on Brancepeth Road. The session runs like a drop-in so you can come and go as you please. If you want to, you can let us know in advance that you're coming by sending us a message or booking, but this is entirely optional!

To keep up-to-date with Toddlers, why not join our mailing list.
We'd love to see you!
messy church
On the 3rd Sunday of every month we have Messy Church from 3pm-4:30pm. Messy Church involves lightly faith-based activities such as crafts and creative activities, as well as songs, games, and sharing food together!

Messy Church is a great way to have fun together as a family!
community cinema
On the 4th Friday of every month we host a Community Cinema. You can come along as a family (for free!) and watch some of the latest films. Refreshments are available on-site for up to 50p but you're welcome to bring your own too!

Recent films we've shown include: Frozen 2, Sonic the Hedgehog, Doolittle, and more!
sunday services
Every Sunday we have specialised children's and youth provision during our Sunday services. These are led by DBS-checked members of staff and volunteers within our Church.

Also, we really don't mind if kids are noisy in Church so please don't let that hold you back! We also have a number of children (and even adults) on the ASD spectrum so if you're children have any additional learning or behavioural needs, please let us know!
